Country Manager (General Manager) Poland - Warehousing and Distribution

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Group Regional CEE Manager you will be responsible for the management and bottom-line responsibility of all warehousing and distribution activities within client's operation in Poland. Some of the major duties will include:

Target setting and successful delivery of the Regional Business plan in Poland
General and Operational Management including sales, business development, customer service, facility management and operations
Support to Regional CEE Manager in driving the product strategies including identifying and realization of savings opportunities, productivity improvements and by recommending enhanced business processes to further optimize the operation
Development of close relationships with existing customer base and acquisition of the new customers
Establishment and development of a stable and competent team in Poland
Support local product development in line with the client's global / regional strategy
Other tasks as required

Requirements:

Some of the requirements you may need for this job:

University Degree in relevant area (Logistics, Supply Chain)
Proven General Management skills, strong commercial focus and financial skills
At least 5 years management experience in warehousing and distribution
Solid background and understanding of Supply Chain Management
Systems literate with a detailed understanding of WMS and IT issues
Strong leadership and communication skills
Polish mother tongue, fluent English
